NDIS & the LGB Community

You’re invited to an introduction to One2One Victoria’s short course: NDIS & the LGB Community—a vital training for NDIS practitioners committed to inclusive, rights-based support.

This course is designed to deepen understanding of the lived experiences of lesbian, gay, and bisexual clients, with a particular focus on the impact of stigma and systemic discrimination. Rather than offering a checklist of interventions, the training encourages a thoughtful, reflective approach that recognises the resilience and diversity within LGB communities.

In this session, we’ll walk you through the course content and its practical application in NDIS settings, including how to embed strength-based, culturally competent, and empathetic practices in your daily work. There will also be a Q&A to explore how this training can support more inclusive and effective service delivery across your team or practice.

Participants who complete the course receive a certificate of attendance, demonstrating their commitment to inclusive, person-centred care.

Join us to learn how you can contribute to a more respectful, affirming, and supportive environment for LGB clients within the disability sector.
