Submission to the NSQHS Standards Review

LGB Alliance Australia has lodged its submission to the review of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS Standards), the national framework that sets minimum safety and quality requirements for hospitals and health services. We call for stronger evidence requirements, clear safeguarding standards for children, rigorous informed consent, and tighter governance in high-risk areas such as paediatric gender medicine.

We emphasise that the Third Edition must keep clinical practice grounded in high-quality evidence, robust oversight, and child-centred care that places safety and biological reality ahead of ideology.
