Calling all members who work in the medical profession

We are supporting the Australian Doctor’s Federation who are asking medical professionals to sign a letter in support of Dr. Jillian Spencer. You are invited to sign if you are a doctor, psychologist, nurse or midwife, allied health professional, social worker, pharmacist or other clinical professional.

Australian clinicians are being urged to stand for evidence-based, ethical care by signing the Letter in Support of Dr Jillian Spencer.

Dr Spencer raised legitimate concerns about the harms of “gender-affirming” interventions for minors—concerns now validated internationally by the UK Cass Review and the US HHS Report. Her termination and show cause notices from Queensland Health highlights the growing silencing of clinicians who speak for patient safety.

Health professionals are signing because:
1️ Dr Spencer acted on her duty of care to protect children from unproven, high-risk interventions.
2️ Australia’s current approach is out of step with international best practice.
3️ Silencing ethical clinicians threatens open inquiry and patient safety.
